Purpose and Scope

This Data Protection Notice has been prepared for the purpose of informing real persons who wish to participate in projects, programs, and collaborations conducted by Kant LLC ("Kant Akademi") regarding the processing of personal data they share through application forms, contact forms, email, and similar channels, in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK").

When processing your personal data, our priority principles include the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms, especially the protection of privacy, ensuring information security, and compliance with ethical principles.

Purpose of Data Processing

Processed Data Categories

The following personal data categories may be processed:

• Identity Information: Name, surname
• Contact Information: Email address, phone number
• Education Information: University, department information

Retention Period of Personal Data

Your personal data is stored:

• If your participation request in the project or program is successful, for the duration of the relevant project or collaboration,
• If your participation request is unsuccessful, for 6 (six) months for the purpose of tracking the application process

After the expiration of this period, your personal data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized in accordance with KVKK.

Security of Personal Data

Your personal data is processed and stored:

• To prevent unauthorized access,
• To prevent data loss and unlawful use

by taking appropriate technical and administrative measures, ensuring that only authorized persons can access it.

Your Rights Under KVKK

As data subjects, in accordance with Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is being processed
• Request information if it has been processed
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose
• Request correction if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly
• Request deletion or destruction within the framework of the conditions set forth in KVKK
• Object to the emergence of a situation against you as a result of analysis through automatic systems
• Request compensation for damages if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing
